100% Nebbiolo, this charming new addition to our shelves offers a graceful, approachable take on one of Piedmont’s most revered grapes. In the glass, it reveals a translucent ruby hue, hinting at the wine’s elegant structure. Aromatically, it’s classic Nebbiolo—rose petals, sour cherry, and dried herbs intertwine with subtle notes of tar and spice. On the palate, the wine is lithe and finely textured, with firm yet polished tannins and a vibrant acidity that frames flavors of red currant, cranberry, and a touch of orange peel. While youthful, it already shows poise and clarity, offering a glimpse of Barolo’s noble character in a more accessible, early-drinking style. This Langhe Nebbiolo pairs beautifully with traditional Piedmontese dishes like vitello tonnato, tajarin with butter and sage, or braised rabbit. Its bright acidity and fine tannins also make it a great match for mushroom risotto or truffle-laced pasta. For a simple yet satisfying pairing, try it with roasted poultry or aged cheeses like Parmigiano-Reggiano. Decanting for 30–45 minutes will help open up its aromatic complexity.
