This wine is 100% Nebbiolo from the Cru of Albesani in Northern Italy. A newer player in the Barbaresco on the scene, these wines are rich and elegant with perfect balancing acidity. Loaded with classic flavors of cherry, leather, tobacco, rose petals, and a touch of pomegranate. Perfect for cellar aging and pairing with grilled red meat, aged cheeses, and rich pasta dishes.

From the Importer: Albesani “Vigna Borgese” refers to the small plot of vines that surrounds the Busso family home and cellar in Neive. Older vines (50 years old) are taken from a 1.2 ha parcel, delivering fruit that is deeply concentrated yet sleek, with glorious potential to age.
