This wine is 100% Chardonnay, from lieu dits in Mersault and Volnay. Bright minerality is underscored by fresh white peach, wet stone, lime zest and lemon thyme. We would enjoy this with steamed halibut with broccoli, cauliflower, and oyster mushrooms. Balanced fruit and acidity for a smooth expression of white Burgundy. Pierre is the 13th generation in his family to make wine for the domaine, and is a rising young talent in Burgundy. With his father Vincent's extensive contacts, he is able to make wine expressing various terroir in Burgundy. His entry level white is the beginning of a long list of incredible wines.
