Roxanich's 'Montona' is truly a labor of love. Named after one of the winemaker's daughters, you can feel the care that has been put into raising the vines, just as one would love their child. The wine itself is full of personality with a delicate balance of acacia blossom, chamomile, and dried orchard fruit on the nose. All of that meets with a touch of honey and minerality on the palate to give you a true sense of what draws people from all over to the shores and hills of Istria. To really feel like you're there, try this alongside some bruschetta and a truffle risotto.
