From the producer: Sangiovese 50%, Merlot 30%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%.

The vineyards, located at around 400 m above sea level, within the Assisi DOC area, with an average age of around 18 years, are characterized mainly by shallow soil with a high presence of skeleton deriving from the limestone rock of Mount Subasio.

The harvest began in early September with the Merlot, followed by the Cabernet Sauvignon, and finally the Sangiovese. The grapes, immediately destemmed, are placed in temperature-controlled fermentation tanks for approximately 10-15 days of maceration with regular pumping over and delestage. The grapes are vinified separately to best develop the characteristics of each variety.

Subsequently, the malolactic fermentation is monitored. The wine ages for several months in second-passage French oak barriques, then for approximately six months in bottle.

Ruby red with purple highlights. The nose displays freshness with fruity notes of cherry and raspberry, sweet spices, and chocolate. The palate is smooth and well-structured, with a complex finish and flavorful tannins.
