Oil Cured Crudite
OIL-CURED CRUDITE
A “bath” and rest in oil and salt helps to soften crisp veggies and heightens natural flavors. Serve these crudite anytime – so good you won’t want any dip!
PREPARE vegetables by cleaning, drying, and chopping.
PLACE vegetables in large mixing bowl or roasting pan.
DRIZZLE vegetables generously with lovely Olive Oil.
SPRINKLE generously with salt and pepper.
TOSS vegetables thoroughly to coat.
RESERVE vegetables to a cool, dry place and allow them to rest for at least 30 minutes or up to 3 hours.
STRAIN vegetables (you’ll note some water has been released).
ARRANGE and SERVE immediately.
To serve, pair with a chillable red or something else fresh and unexpected:
