100% Chardonnay from one of De Moor's best plots, with the exception of the Premier Crus. It is known for its heavy clay soils, and produces slightly richer, more textured expressions. This bottling is aged in a combination of small foudre, which are still a large 1200L, 228L barrels, and enamel lined tanks. It sees 11 months on the lees without racking. Pair this with the best New England Clam pie you can find, or make.

From our importer: This wine is a single vineyard bottling from a one hectare parcel in the De Moor's village of Courgis. They consider this to be their best plot (with the exception of the 1er Crus). It has a particularly heavy amount of clay for their vineyards.
