Details

The Goisots are extremely gifted and dedicated vignerons who turn out superb expressions of their respective terroirs from one of the greatest value-producing appellations in all of France. If you have not yet dipped a toe in the water of Sauvignon de Saint Bris or the lovely Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre Blancs, don't waste another second! You could do no better than starting at the top with the wines of Domaine Goisot.

A white wine with a light golden color, Bourgogne Aligoté has brilliant green reflections. On the nose, it gives off fine notes of hawthorn, Williams pear and hazelnut. You will discover in the mouth its aromas of small white flowers and spices.

Bourgogne Aligoté can be tasted young at 12/13° and can be kept for at least 5 years. Ideal as an aperitif, it also goes wonderfully with parsley ham, pâté en croute, shellfish, river fish and poultry.
