This wine is 100% Nebbiolo from the commune of Barolo. A classic, built out Nebbiolo, with high acidity and plenty of tannins, this is a great wine for any Piedmont lover. All the trademarks of Barolo are here, tar, leather, cherry, roses and just a touch oak make this bottling truly stunning. Cellaring or a long decant are highly recommended. Pair with a veal, or pork dishes.

Located in Bussia Sopra in the hamlet of Dardi, in Monforte d'Alba, Poderi Colla's parcel in Bussia spans 6.25 hectares. Bussia has long been regarded as one of the best crus for the production for Barolo with south/southwestern exposure and soils composed of calcareous clay. Beppe Colla's first vintage in Bussia was 1961, and he was the first Piedmontese winemaker to label the name of the cru on the bottle. After malolactic fermentation, it rests in Slavonian botti for 24-28 months plus 1 year in bottle before release.
