Kat, a certified WSET III made the leap to follow her passion and transition to the wine industry after 10 years working in the financial industry. She spent two and a half years working at wineries in Virginia, doing everything from working a harvest, managing a tasting room, teaching wine classes and running multiple wine clubs while getting her certifications with WSET. She transitioned into the wine wholesale  world for a few years – The Wise Old Dog was always her favorite stop, so it only made sense for her to work with us.
