This wine is made of 100% Pinot Grigio. We would pair it with chicken cutlets, either with a salad or pasta. The wine is aged on its lees and sees a 36 hour skin contact, giving it depth and a copper/pink hue. The color is a characteristic of Pinot Grigio that sees extended skin contact, because the grapes have a reddish gray color. The bouquet is reminiscent of ripe pear, red apple, flowers, melon, tropical fruit and minerality. The discreet, creamy aftertaste is typical in wines that are matured on lees and it rounds the wine well into a pleasant harmony of scents and flavors.
