Sourced from the Les Grandes Bruyères vineyard in Mâcon-Fuissé, this Chardonnay opens with inviting aromas of ripe pear, golden apple, white flowers, and citrus zest accented by subtle notes of hazelnut and limestone minerality. The palate is fresh and beautifully textured, balancing vibrant acidity with flavors of orchard fruit, lemon curd, and a touch of creaminess that carries through to a long, refined finish. Elegant and precise, it captures both the richness and freshness that define the finest white wines of southern Burgundy. Pair with vegetarian risotto, or charcuterie.

Details

Approximately 6000 bottles are produced annually from 40 year-old vines in the village of Fuissé. Planted to limestone-clay soils, these vineyards produce a typically generous, rich wine from this village famed for its ideal setting that yields some of the finest wines of the Maconnais. In this instance, after fermentation, the wine is raised in stainless steel but left in contact with the fine lees for one year.
