Our flagship wine, rooted in history and crafted with passion. Planted in 1981 by Spencer Hoopes, this vineyard marks the very beginning of the Hoopes Vineyard story. Today, under the guidance of his daughter Lindsay, the 2019 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon expresses decades of dedication and care. Scented sparks of cedar chips, orange zest, and muddled raspberries fly out of the glass. A warm, rich welcome of freshly baked plum galette topped with ground nutmeg and toasted clove greets you on the first sip. The mid-palate bursts with a balanced mix of fruit and savory spices, carrying through to a long finish of tobacco and plum. A true testament to Oakville terroir and the Hoopes legacy.
