This Atlantic-influenced Galician red offers a bright profile of raspberry, blackberry, and sour cherry, complemented by violet, bay leaf, and subtle earthy spice. Fresh acidity gives the wine an energetic line, while its medium-light body and fine tannins provide enough structure to accompany a meal without overwhelming it. The fruit remains vivid and direct, with a lightly savory finish that reflects the character of Ribeiro's indigenous red varieties. Food pairing: grilled pork, Galician-style octopus, roasted peppers, or chicken with wild mushrooms.

Casal de Armán is a family-owned estate in Ribeiro, in Galicia's Avia Valley, where winegrowing traditions stretch back generations. The vineyards occupy hillside and riverside sites with granite-derived sandy soils, locally known as sábrego, often mixed with clay and slate. Although Ribeiro is widely associated with white wines, the estate also works to preserve its native red varieties, including Sousón, Caíño Longo, and Brancellao. Its winemaking favors freshness and varietal definition, with careful extraction and maturation designed to retain the character of the fruit and the region.
