100% Pinot Noir from almost forgotten terroir overlooking the city of Dijon. The property was purchased by the city of Dijon, and entrusted in the hands of Marc Soyard, to revive around 8 hectares of grapes that once made wines rivaling those of Gevrey-Chambertin or Chambolle-Musigny. All of the vineyards are farmed organically, and the wines made to reflect the vintage. Marc and the domaine are the only producer allowed to classify their wines as Coteaux de Dijon and this deliciously juicy but seriously layered Pinot Noir stands proud for the land it represents. Slow it down and get this on the table with something cooked low and slow in your oven, or pair it with your favorite takeout cheeseburger. Either way, indulge in this really special wine!
