This wine is made of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha. The Tempranillo is sourced from the subregion of Rioja Alta, while the Garnacha is from Rioja Oriental. On the nose, the wine shows hints of red berries, mushroom earthiness, and dried orange peel followed by crushed cherries, raspberries, and walnut. The wine is showing beautifully right now in 2024, but can still be held onto for longer. This Rioja is made from all estate fruit and aged for 3 years in used American Oak. The 70 hectare property offers unbeatable conditions for growing this variety. Its nutrient-poor soil, covered with boulders, results in great varietal typicity, rich in aromas, with a pleasant, elegant structure.
