Nestled in the Garraf mountains of Cubelles, the Roca Crespa vineyard is merely 4km from the sea, enjoying a Mediterranean climate. The 2022 vintage faced a significant drought, with annual rainfall below 450mm. These 40-year-old vines, planted in limestone soils and surrounded by a Mediterranean forest, adhere to ecological viticulture. The manual harvest took place on August 6th, 2022. In the cellar, we destemmed 100% of the grapes. Following pressing, the juice underwent fermentation in 100% stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts. Post-fermentation, the wine matured for 7 months in stainless steel vats on fine yeasts. A gentle filtration preceded the bottling process.
